Business Process Manager

The Business Process Manager, specializing in Business Transformation and Change Management, plays a key role in driving process efficiency and effectiveness while focusing on business improvement and transformation initiatives across the organization. This includes Business Process Management and Change Management within the Business Improvement and Transformation Team (BITT), ensuring that process enhancements are seamlessly integrated into broader transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyse existing business processes across the organization to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement while considering change management implications.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive business process improvement and change management strategy aligned with the BITT Objectives and transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analysis Function to propose evidence-based improvement options, considering the impact on employees and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign and optimize business processes, implementing industry best practices and innovative solutions, while managing the change impact.
  • Lead process mapping, documentation, and modelling efforts to create clear and standardized process models, workflows and procedures
  • Define KPIs to establish process baselines, measure post-implementation performance, and assess change adoption metrics.
  • Work within the BITT criteria to identify and prioritize process improvement projects based on strategic importance, potential impact on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, and the associated change requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies in all process improvement initiatives, considering the need for change management compliance and communication.
  • Drive a culture of continuous process improvement, process excellence, and innovation within the BITT and across the organization through a network of Process Champions and Change Ambassadors.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support process improvement initiatives, including training and communication plans. Work closely with a network of Change Ambassadors within the business.
  • Collaborate with the BITT Steering Committee, Head of Business Transformation, the Portfolio Manager, and other functions to align process improvements with broader transformation objectives and their associated change implications.

 

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Process Improvement, or related field is strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt) strongly preferred.
  • Significant proven experience in process improvement, business process management or business transformation roles, with a strong understanding of change management principles is required.
  • Proficiency in process modelling and documentation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address process-related challenges, taking change implications into account.

Desirable

  • Project management and change management skills for participation in process improvement projects.
  • Experience of implementing Innovation programmes.
