A message from Philip W.B Fullerton, MD, Northern Marine Group

25th Mar 2020

As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic continues to spread across the world, we are all facing unprecedented challenges during this ongoing and dynamic situation.

At the heart of our decision making at Northern Marine is the health and safety of our employees, our responsibility to ensure continuous safe and effective management of our Clients’ vessels and - where possible - uninterrupted delivery of our wider marine services.

It has been most humbling and pleasing to witness the professionalism and dedication demonstrated by our onshore and offshore colleagues as they smoothly execute business continuity protocols amidst challenging personal circumstances.

Our digital business systems and infrastructure, in which we have invested heavily in recent years, are being utilised to the fullest as our onshore personnel work from home in line with the guidance of their respective nation state.

It is vitally important, more now than ever, that we all continue to communicate with each other to not only complete our professional duties, but to also support one another through these testing times.

We are under no illusion that the extraordinary situation in which we are all operating will continue to provide challenges; however, our employees, systems and processes are in place to ensure we fulfil our promises to our clients and keep each other safe.

At Northern Marine, people are our key asset, and it is in circumstances such as these that we can rely on our global pool of talented and resilient personnel.

Yours sincerely,
