Northern Marine Group has concluded a successful week at Gastech 2026 in Bangkok, where colleagues from across the Group promoted our capabilities within the global gas industry.

The Gastech conference and exhibition is one of the industry’s most important international events, bringing together energy companies, shipowners, investors, technology providers, and government representatives. The attendance of senior political and business leaders underlined its significance to the future of global energy.

There was also a strong presence from Northern Marine Group clients, reflecting the event’s relevance to the clients, markets and projects supported by the Group.

From our dedicated exhibition stand, we promoted services available to shipowners, energy majors and other organisations in the gas sector. These included ship/FSRU management, marine engineering, marine quality assurance, and marine services from across the Group.

The team included colleagues from the UK, Mumbai, Norway, Singapore and Shanghai reflecting Northern Marine Group’s international reach and breadth of expertise. They held a busy programme of meetings with existing clients, industry contacts and representatives of organisations the Group is seeking to support.

Northern Marine Group does not exhibit at many events each year, making Gastech a carefully considered strategic investment.

“It provides an opportunity to meet key decision-makers, strengthen relationships and introduce our capabilities to organisations seeking experienced support. This was the fifth year Northern Marine Group has exhibited there.

Northern Marine has an established position in managing technically complex gas vessels, supported by more than 15 years of experience in the LNG sector. Our teams support vessel design and construction, mobilisation, safe and compliant operations, crew competence, and long-term asset performance. Specialist services from across the wider Group enable support to clients throughout a vessel or project lifecycle.

The meetings and positive feedback received reinforced the value of Northern Marine Group’s services within the gas sector. The teams will now build on the discussions as the Group strengthens existing relationships and explores opportunities to support new clients.

Northern Marine Group thanks everyone who represented the Company in Bangkok, together with colleagues who supported the planning, logistics, stand construction, promotional materials, travel and administration.

Their combined efforts ensured the Group was represented professionally at one of the industry’s most strategically important events.
