Corporate Services Manager

This role will be responsible for the strategic development of Corporate Services function in a cost effective and efficient manner. This will include reviewing existing and establishing robust processes to meet business requirements. Additionally, the role holder will lead and motivate staff and ensure they receive appropriate support, training, and development to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement within the team in challenging existing practices and actively seek ways to achieve better outcomes, contributing to ensure key performance and financial targets are met and corrective action taken where necessary.
  • Developing a culture of effective service delivery to the business and demonstrate tangible savings through process reengineering
  • Implement service level agreements with measurable KPIs and detailed descriptions of services provided
  • Ensure all process changes comply with Internal Audit and meet compliance requirements
  • To report to the Executive team and respective committees as may be required from time to time to provide up to date status reports on Corporate Services to include development and demonstrate value for money
  • To support cross functional management in fostering innovation and thinking outside the box
  • To encourage staff to diversify and learn new skills across multiple functions
  • To define system and process strategy for Corporate Services
  • Hands on implementation approach
  • Strong communicator and demonstrated SME
  • Ability to relate to all levels

Candidate Requirements

  • Educated to degree level 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a corporate/shared services environment who can demonstrate they have established or expanded a corporate/shared service centre
  • Proven track record in delivering tangible savings through process/system reengineering
  • History of introducing a strong culture of innovation and motivating staff
  • Strong leadership in terms of engaging and influencing staff and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a history of providing value-add support to businesses
  • Strong interpersonal skills including project management and communication
