Corporate Services Manager

The role holder is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and review of the Corporate Services function to deliver streamlined services to the business in a cost effective and time efficient manner, while ensuring compliance and resilience across multiple service lines including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Facilities, Supplier Services, Travel Support and Administration Functions. They will be required to lead a multidisciplinary team and develop the Corporate Services divisions in the UK and Mumbai, establishing, enhancing, and refining robust processes to meet the business requirements, resulting in an excellent internal customer experience

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement within the team by challenging existing practices and actively seeking ways to achieve efficiencies.

• Develop a culture of excellent service delivery to clients and demonstrate tangible savings through process reengineering, removal of non-value activities, strong collaboration with stakeholders and the removal of single point failures.

• Own the Risk Management and register for Corporate Services to ensure risks are identified, assessed and managed to ensure business resilience and sustainability

• Lead and mentor direct and indirect reports to ensure each team member fulfils their potential and has a clearly defined pathway for progression.

• Ensure full compliance to service level agreements with any negative deviations acted upon immediately and corrective actions implemented.

• Provide clear reporting and feedback to clients on performance of the service and the status of improvement plans.

• Ensure all processes and changes comply with Internal Audit, Group policies and other compliance requirements

• Report to the Senior Management Team and respective committees as may be required from time to time to provide status reports on Corporate Services including development plans and demonstrated savings and improvements.

• Support cross functional management, encouraging innovation and a problem-solving culture.

• Encourage staff to diversify and learn new skills across multiple functions.

• Define system and process strategy for Corporate Services and a roadmap, preparing business cases as required.

• Ensure strong communications and excellent customer service within the function and with key stakeholders.

 

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Experience of managing teams across multiple locations, particularly internationally, would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record in delivering tangible savings and improvements through process / system improvements.
  • Demonstrable experience of nurturing a strong culture of innovation, service excellence and staff motivation.
  • Strong leadership in terms of engaging and influencing staff and key stakeholders.
  • Process or project management skills would be beneficial to the role holder

Desirable:

  • Degree qualified preferable or extensive management experience within Corporate/Shared Services
