Finance Assistant, Corporate

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner this role is responsible for processing of monthly transactions, customer billing and general accounting admin duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accruals and prepayment journals
  • Review of accounts payable invoices for completeness and accuracy
  • Process monthly billing to customers
  • Credit Control
  • Creation of bank payments
  • Bank reconciliations, including posting of cash transactions
  • Assisting with investigation of outstanding items in balance sheet reconciliation
  • Gather evidence for internal and external audits
  • Assisting wider finance team with ad hoc duties and reporting

You may be asked from time to time to undertake other tasks that are considered to be relevant to your position.

Candidate Requirements

  • HND in Accounting & Finance
  • Work Experience of College Placement within an office environment
  • Knowledge of Accountancy fundamentals
  • Experience with Microsoft packages including proficiency in Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills including good communication, attention to detail and good problem-solving-skills

Desirable

  • Degree in Accounting & Finance
  • 6 months - 1 year working in an Accounts Department.
