Finance Client Reporting Team Coordinator

As Client Reporting Team Co-Ordinator you will manage a team of Client Reporting Team Leaders and Finance Officers. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality reporting to our vessel clients ensuring the team meet the monthly reporting deadlines and monitoring and report on agreed key performance indicators. Ensure the team are trained and motivated to utilise our finance system to best effect drive efficiency and continual improvement. You will be fully qualified, with excellent leadership skills and the ability to influence and drive the team towards improving processes, driving change, and ensuring governance of cost disciplines across our Managed fleet of vessels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Monthly client accounts in line with the Reporting Timetable. 
  • Senior review Client Reports to ensure quality and accuracy. 
  • Monitor and develop KPI Dashboards for Ship Management along with reporting on client feedback. 
  • Add value to our clients and taking the lead on any feedback/improvements. 
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally and work closely with Clients to on-board new business. 
  • Build a Strong commercial acumen and work with our Business Control team to improve processes. 
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller in delivery of new processes and projects and capture existing processes. 
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure planning of the department.  
  • Review of Monthly Bank and Balance sheet reconciliations within the close calendar.  
  • Assisting in internal and client audits 
  • Work closely with Client Team Leaders/Finance Officers to close out any Client Queries in a timely manner. 
  • Work together as a team and provide department cross-functional support when required. 
  • Procedures and Governance Systems: Identify & support process improvement and Automation.  
  • Undertake Ad-hoc duties/projects when required/developing efficiencies in processes.  
  • Ability to work with large data sets

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Full Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA/ICAS Qualified
  • Previous experience working within a dynamic team and ability to demonstrate Leadership and Management of Staff
