Head of Francois Offshore Catering

Responsible for the commercial development of Francois Offshore Catering in the global marketplace and delivering the goals set per the strategy agreed by the Marine Services Director. This role will be responsible for growing and managing new and existing customers, financial planning, compliance, and people management.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing operations across Francois Offshore Catering Limited, whilst taking full responsibility for profit and loss, and reporting to the Marine Services Director.
- Monitor financial performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve financial goals and targets.
- Identify investment opportunities, both in terms of internal resources, skillset and opportunities in the market, such as potential acquisitions, partnerships or Joint ventures.
- Support with corporate planning, formulating policies and help set goals and objectives for the Catering business unit
- Set KPI’s to measure and track performance of business expansion and customer delivery
- Responsible for developing wider business development opportunities – in coordination with the Operations Managers to drive greater bid invites and performance.
- Oversee and optimise end to end operations, ensuring a high standard of service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Accountable for people planning, development and succession within FOC, identifying key resources, talent review and future planning.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety and continuous improvement.
- Drive the development of marketing and communication plans, and the establishment of long and short-term marketing and business objectives and goals at a client level.
- Review governance and management of Offshore Catering business unit, communication, and engagement with stakeholders.
- Lead market research initiatives to stay informed of industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape, ensuring the Company remains a market leader.
- Drive innovation in service offerings to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Benchmark Francois Offshore Catering rates for feeding and labour with the major competitors – employ strategies to increase competitiveness whilst mitigating risk
- Professionally interact and communicate with internal departments, multitask, and work to aggressive deadlines.
- Develop and implement robust risk management strategies, ensuring Francois Offshore Catering is prepared for any potential challenges, including supply chain disruptions, and emergency situations.
- Attend selected key industry functions along with other personnel as required
- Provide evaluation of identified strategic options and business opportunities and obtain buy-in from management and parent company stakeholders
- You may be asked to carry out tasks not associated with your role from time to time.
Candidate Requirements:
- Extensive experience working in the offshore catering industry
- Extensive experience in a senior management position
- Extensive experience in sales environment with demonstrated success
- Demonstrable experience managing clients and key stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience in risk analysis and management
- Demonstrated strategic planning skills
- Financial and commercial acumen – ability to navigate and interpret complex accounts
- Operational leaderships skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated customer relationship management skills
- Detailed knowledge of remote catering operations, crewing and logistics
- Detailed knowledge of key geographies pertaining to offshore oil and gas projects
- Broad understanding of offshore operations and compliance requirements.
- PC literate with extensive knowledge and experience working with all MS office products.
