HR Data Analyst

To support the Chevron personnel department in its delivery of personnel administration function by compiling accurate data reports and detailed analysis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly manpower reports; analysing trends in nationality balance, personnel movements, turnover, age profile and other ad hoc reports as required by the Client / Company.
  • Point of contact for O&MT (Offshore and Marine Terminals) personnel, assisting with leave accruals/liquidations and all associated queries.
  • Special Assignment tracking – timesheets, assignment Letters, COMP Sheets, payroll/salary administration.
  • Monthly Pension Plan Administration i.e. INPS/ISAP/IRAP.
  • Ensure cost coding for additional personnel is recorded and reported accurately.
  • IPPS database maintenance, ensuring seafarer’s documents are updated.
  • Arranging seafarer’s medical appointments and logistics.
  • Administering Sea Service / Employment Letters.
  • Assisting the HR Team Leader in drafting, formation and implementation of the Client’s Personnel policies and procedures when required.
  • Other tasks and ad hoc project work such as reports deemed necessary and relevant by the company.
  • Liaising with the Mumbai and the Philippines office as required.
  • May be required to be a part of the out of hours on call rota.
  • Occasional travel as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Higher Education.
  • Experience of working within a HR/ personnel environment.
  • Data analysis.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, with advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel. 


  • Previous experience of working within the marine and / or offshore oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of marine personnel procedures and industry regulations.
