IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for managing IT across the NMM Group of companies. Represent NMM IT Interests when Interacting with Stena IT Organisation. Develop strong collaboration with Group Head of Business Systems to ensure clear definition of IT service delivery to group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control performance objectives and KPI's for IT as they are put forward by the company
  • Manage Strategic IT initiatives
  • Define and adjust IT standards and Technologies to meet NMM Group needs
  • Ensure IT governance and Initiatives are in line with all industry and NMM group benchmarks
  • As NMG has several ISO Certifications and Other Security standards ensure that NMG IT are compliant at all times with our commitments and that no Non Conformances or findings are produced from the IT Organisation
  • Control IT budget and provide business value at all times by ensuring TCO figures and ROI match the company’s expectations
  • Oversee IT Contracts and Vendor relationships and co-ordinate where possible with NMM Tendering Committee
  • Be strongly focused on the IT people Organisation and work with the Group Head of Business Systems in relation to the IT Organisation People Strategy.
  • You may be asked from time to time be asked to undertake other tasks that are considered to be relevant to your position.

 

Candidate Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience of defining and implementing IT strategies.
  • Project Management experience 
  • Significant experience managing I.T projects.
  • Confident managing a medium to large I.T team.
  • Experience with managing an IT Department financial budget
  • Knowledge of I.T KPI Management
  • Excellent Team leadership skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
