Purchasing Assistant

Reporting to the Purchasing Group Leaders, the Purchasing Assistant, will be responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Purchasing Team.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Data entry, order management and expedition of orders and RFQ’s in Aurora purchasing system
  • Spreadsheet data entry and review
  • Liaise with other business units and departments
  • Day to day assistance for the Purchasing Group
  • Housekeeping of the Aurora purchasing system
  • Minute taking

You may be asked from time to time be asked to undertake other tasks that are considered to be relevant to your position.


Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience within an administrative role, preferably within a marine environment. You will be competent in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. To succeed you will be self motivated and willing to learn and have the ability to manage your work workload whilst working as part of a team. Experience of PowerBi would be advantageous.
