Clyde Travel - Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of national and international clients and will demonstrate a global mindset and cross-cultural competence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an in depth understanding of client and customer goals, developing the ability to anticipate needs
  • Pro-actively service, support, and provide customers with improvement opportunities to increase income, maximise attrition and meet Company strategic objectives.
  • Assist in the implementation of new customers and develop relationships that reflect positively on the Company.
  • Assisting with new business implementations and sales department
  • Adept at navigating complex business needs and effectively driving growth
  • Awareness of cultural differences, with an ability to adapt style as required across our global footprint.
  • Manage account Management Reviews, including Account development and improvement plans
  • Responsible for contract and service level agreement creation, fee reviews & monitoring of performance
  • Develop and provide data analysis and reporting
  • Facilitate and manage product demonstrations
  • Manage and update information in any client database the company may apply
  • Review and propose updates to the travel policy, including consultation and compliance monitoring
  • Matrix management, connecting the customer and Travel at all levels within each business
  • Manage attrition in line with the business KPIs
  • Attending events on behalf of the company
  • Commitment to continual personal development, ensuring market, industry, and competitor knowledge is exemplary.

 

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Degree level educated in related discipline or equivalent experience in account management
  • Extensive experience in account management, preferably with global or multi-national customers
  • Extensive experience working with senior level decision makers
  • Demonstrable experience in project management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to process complex information
  • Strategic thinker
  • Extensive experience with MS office packages.

The role offers the opportunity for Hybrid working and is dependent on commercial demands
